Mountainside Ski & Sports is not only a retail ski shop. We are also a designated Race center for Rossignol and Volkl ski equipment! On staff we have several registered USSA race coaches with years of experience as USSA and Collegiate racers. No matter what type of racer you are we can get you set up with the right equipment.

In addition to being a Rossignol and Volkl Race Center, we also carry race skis, boots and bindings from Kastle, Marker, Look and Dalbello.

Mountainside also carries all the other ski racing essentials. Poles and guards from Swix and Leki. Helmets, goggles and protection from Sweet Protection, Oakley and Giro. Speed Suits from Spyder, Karbon and Arctica. Ski tuning equipment and wax from Swix.

Stop in or give us a call to set up an appointment to work with one of our ski racing experts to help you find the right equipment to take you to the next level.

Race Service

We don't just simply stock race skis and equipment! We have the ability to stone grind and service those skis as well. Doing a speed event at Sugarloaf and need a fine structure for cold-dry snow? Or, are you heading up to the Sugar Slalom at Stowe to score some low points courtesy of UVM and need a open structure for wet granular snow? Either of these grinds as well as many more are available to you here at Mountainside. We will help you decide exactly what type of base structure you need to for any type of condition! In addition to stone grinding base structure, Mountainside Ski & Sports has also added Ceramic Edge tuning to our menu. Ceramic tuning machines provide precise and smooth edge angles. Take a moment to talk with one of our tuning experts to determine what angles will work best for you.

Ski Tuning

In order to be fast you have to keep those burrs off your edges and keep those bases soaked with wax. Because we know what a difference a good tune can have on your ability to go fast, we carry a full selection of tuning equipment and wax from Swix. File guides, Diamond stones, HF/LF/Ch waxes, and more. Feel free to ask any or our tuning experts about the difference in waxes and edge degrees. We are ready to help you get the leg up on your competition.

Boot Fitting

We all know a properly fit boot is important but when it comes to ski racing it’s critical! Mountainside Ski & Sports carries a wide range of race boots; starting with Jr. boots right up to the stiffest, lace-up “plug” boot, we have the perfect size and flex for every racer. After finding the correct boot we then will take the time to make the boot “custom fit” to you. Click here to see all the custom boot work we offer. Feel free to call today and set up an appointment with one of our fitting experts.
