used bike and bicycle sale

Saturday June 5th, 9:00am to 4:00pm

We will begin accepting equipment on Tuesday, June 1st @ 11am.

Bike Swap Week Hours:

Monday May 31st (Memorial Day) - Closed

Tuesday June 1st thru Friday June 4th - 11am to 7pm

Saturday June 5th - 9am to 4pm

Buyers: Our sale runs from 9am to 4pm on Saturday June 5th. This is a great chance for you to get good used bikes and accessories for the upcoming season and see the new 2021 bikes and equipment! Cash and checks only accepted for used items.

Sellers: Bring your used bikes and cycling accessories and equipment to Mountainside the week of June 1st. Items will be priced and tagged for the sale on Saturday June 5th. We will also accept items for sale the morning of Saturday the 5th beginning at 8:30am.


  • All bikes must meet current industry standards.
  • This year clothing and helmets will NOT be accepted for the event.
  • This year we will be accepting: bikes, auto racks, cycling related parts, equipment and accessories.
  • All items will need to be registered for the sale. Simply stop by the store during normal business hours with your items to register.
  • The event is run by the Roundtop Mountain Resort Ski Patrol, all proceeds from the event go directly to the patrol.
  • Sellers will have two options regarding the sale of an item; 1. 100% store credit at Mountainside (Mountainside will still pay the ski patrol a 20% commission), 2. Check, where you will receive a check in the amount of the sold item less a 20% commission for the ski patrol.
  • Sellers do not need to be present during the event.
  • Store Credits will be available for use the next business day after the event.
  • Only cash or check will be accepted for used items.
  • Check our website Saturday for updates of items sold.
  • Covid-19 specific requirements: We will be following all Covid-19 related guidelines that are required at the time of the swap. These may include masks, social distancing and crowd limits. As all guidelines are rapidly evolving we will be more specific as the date of the event draws nearer. Keep in mind common sense and general curtsies to others are always appreciated. 
  • All unsold items must be picked up by 4pm Saturday June 5th.
