SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING METHODS:
All products purchased on www.mountainsideski-sports.com will be shipped either by U.S. Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx. At checkout, you will be given your shipping options: In Store Pickup, Economy / Ground, 2nd Day, or Next Day service.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Economy orders will ship within five (5) business days, and all other orders will generally ship within 1 to 3 business days. All packages must be sent to a valid street address. Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping addresses. Shipments to addresses requiring correction may incur additional shipping charges. Skis, snowboards and some larger items will incur express shipping surcharges because they are categorized as oversized by all shipping carriers. This shipping surcharge will be assigned at the time of checkout.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:
*Due to package size restrictions, some large or bulky items (such as skis, snowboards, travel bags, travel cases, etc.) will have an oversized package handling charge applied. The additional charge for oversized items will be combined with the regular shipping fee in the shipping charge box at checkout.
BICYCLES AND E-BIKES:
All bicycles and e-bicycles are not available for shipping. All purchases are for “In-store” pick-up only.
FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS:
Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $100 of merchandise may require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.
RECOMMENDED SHIPPING ADDRESS:
Mountainside Ski & Sports recommends shipping to a location where someone will be available to receive the delivery, such as a business address. Mountainside Ski & Sports cannot be responsible for packages delivered to unattended addresses.
TRANSIT TIMES:
The amount of time an order is in transit from the time it leaves Mountainside Ski & Sports will depend on where it is being shipped and the type of service utilized.
ECONOMY OR GROUND SERVICES:
Orders requesting Economy or Ground usually are shipped Monday - Friday and will typically leave our warehouse 24 to 72 hours from the time your order is placed. Orders received on Friday after 12 pm EST thru Sunday will usually ship the following Monday. Ground deliveries should arrive 1-7 days after leaving Mountainside Ski & Sports.
WARRANTY CLAIMS:
Products sold at Mountainside Ski & Sports are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties. Warranty claims are handled at the manufacturer’s discretion. Contact Mountainside Ski & Sports Customer Service for guidance before returning any item for warranty evaluation. Warranty returns can also be handled at our retail location.
NEXT DAY AND 2ND DAY SERVICES:
Orders requested via Next Day should arrive the next business day (excluding weekends) after leaving Mountainside Ski & Sports. Orders sent via 2nd Day should arrive within 2 business days (excluding weekends) from the date of shipment. FedEx and UPS guarantee on-time delivery for these services subject to their terms and conditions.
Orders must be placed by 10:00am (EST) Monday-Friday to be eligible for that day's Next Day or 2nd Day shipments. Orders placed over the weekend will not be shipped until Monday. Please take this into consideration when using these services.
Mountainside Ski & Sports makes its best efforts to meet the timing requested for delivery. However, if the requested timing is not met, the customer's remedies are limited to the guarantee provided by UPS and/or FedEx, a refund of freight charges, and/or the opportunity to return the purchased items subject to the Company's Return Policy.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER:
When your order ships, you will receive a Ship Notification via email. A link is provided in this notification that you can use to track the delivery of your order. We suggest that you save this email until your order is fully received.
You can also track your order on the U.S. Postal Service, www.usps.com/tracking, UPS, www.ups.com, or the FedEx website, www.fedex.com.
ITEM AVAILABILITY:
Most items shown on mountainsideski-sports.com will be in stock and available for immediate shipment. If an item is not available, you will be alerted on the product purchase page before adding it to your cart. If you attempt to add an out-of-stock item to your cart, a message will appear at the top of the page indicating that the item you selected is not currently available for purchase. If you happen to choose an out-of-stock item, please check back. Mountainside Ski & Sports receives shipments from its vendors regularly, and any out-of-stock item is typically filled within 7 to 10 days.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS AND NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on Clearance, Close-Out items or gift cards.
EXCHANGES:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and make a separate purchase for the new item.
REFUNDS:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
